DCEU trailers at SDCC

Jul 25, 2016

During #SDCC this weekend, Warner Bros put on some impressive panels showcasing a few of their upcoming movies. Casts from Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League were all in attendance in Hall H to deliver some epic footage for attendees.

Suicide Squad – The film hit theaters August 5th but WB gave us another look at the upcoming film along with some of the tracks featured on the soundtrack. I really love that Twenty-One Pilots “Heathens” song. I’m actually surprised by how many clips and trailers that have been shown in the past month, yet there has been no spoilers as to what exactly is going on in the story. That is impressive.

Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2nd 2017. Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as the superheroine, and was arguably one of the best parts of Batman V Superman. The film takes places a century before the events of BvS, and follows a younger Diana Prince as she visits the world outside of Themyscira. This movie, along with Gadot are really going to kick ass.

“What is a secretary?”
“I go where he tells me to go and do what he tells me to do.”
“Well where I come from that’s called slavery.”

…and finally Zack Snyder and the entire cast was there to greet us with some footage from the highly anticipated Justice League film which hits theaters November 2017 brings together The Flash, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman together to face threat against the world. The overall tone of the footage is much more light-hearted than Batman V Superman, which many would say is a good thing. It appears the Snyders have heard the outcry of the fans and plan on delivering. The Flash was easily the best part of the footage shown, this version of The Flash seems to be a huge departure from the CW’s version, which is nice that they keep them separate. This version appears to be bit more of a loner. Now we just need Superman to show up in his black Kryptonian suit.

WB also debuted a new photo of the Justice League members, Superman included.
