Mega Man 11 Announced for 2018

Dec 4, 2017

Mega Man 11 is coming to next-gen consoles in 2018!

Capcom has just announced today that the classic Mega Man video game series is back with Mega Man 11. Mega Man 10 came out back in 2010 and we know how hungry Mega Man fans have been for a new game in this beloved franchise. The new game has taken the art direction with 3d models instead of the classic sprite-based models to look like an old NES game.

Everything in the new trailer seems to show that this is very much a classic style Mega Man game. The art direction is definitely more appealing than the Mighty Number 9 3D models and I hope the controls in this are as tight as previous titles. The very end of the trailer also seems to quickly showcase a new ability for Mega Man and gives us a release window of late 2018. So the wait is still going to be a little long but I can imagine many fans are excited to see the blue bomber back. The game will also be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. So grab a can of E-Tank everyone and perhaps boot up an old game to start the excitement for a new entry that has been long overdue in this franchise.
