Sony Announces New PS Plus Program

May 27, 2015

Sony has announced PS Plus Specials – its new program that will offer exclusive discounts for PS Plus subscribers. If you’re not a PS Plus subscriber, then this does not apply to you. We’re sorry, but there’s nothing we can do – and no you can’t borrow $50.

This deal extends to content on the PS4, Ps3, and PS Vita, so nobody is getting left out in the PlayStation ecosystem.

In its PlayStation Blog, Sony detailed that not only will this program apply to new titles, but it will extend to DLC bundles, as well. However, this will be for a limited time, so be quick to snatch up these deals if you’re interested.

PS Plus members will be able to pick up Bloodborne – which we loved – for a discounted price of $47.99. In addition, notable titles like Helldivers: Turning Up The Heat Edition and The Order: 1886 are also being offered for discounted prices.

It seems that time after time Sony is increasing the value of being a PS Plus member. Now that it is required to play online for PS4 games, it’s nice to see Sony not repeating past mistakes and taking additional initiative to make members not feel like they’re being cheated.

If you’d like to take a look at the discounted titles, visit the PlayStation Store for more details. Or if you’re impatient, here’s a chart detailing the initial titles and discounts for this program:
