The Bad Batch Trailer Serves Up Some Surrealistic Horror

Apr 13, 2017

In 2014, writer/director Ana Lily Amirpour released the film A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. The new take on the vampire genre received positive reviews from critics and fans alike. Amirpour’s follow-up film looks to continue to challenge and scare audiences this summer.

The film The Bad Batch opens in June and already looks to change the horror genre again with its visuals and story.

The film stars Suki Waterhouse (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) as Arlen. A woman who awakens in the a Texas wasteland after being dumped there. She is captured by a band of cannibals and has to quickly find a way to survive in this new environment. She meets with several different types of people on her journey and discovers that good and bad are relative when trapped in a place like “The Bad Batch”.
