Amblin/Universal have been developing another post-apocalyptic story for actor Tom Hanks as Bios will have Game of Thrones director Miguel Sapochnik and we have some production dates for the science fiction movie.
An ailing inventor facing his own mortality as the last man on Earth, Finch builds a robot to keep his beloved dog safe. The trio embarks on an epic cross-country journey, the scientist must teach his creation to become human enough to take care of its charge and the beloved pet to accept a new master.
Filming is now said to begin on February 25th in Vancouver with a May 19th wrap date.

Universal has set the film’s release date for October 2nd, 2020.
