What do you do when the god you summoned is not quiet right? You make a deal with this one to get your powers back so that you can destroy Zodiac Starforce. That is how this issue starts. We get to meet the blue-skinned Pavos, a powerful creature who has been trapped for 100 years. He is out and looking to have some fun. By fun, of course, he means make havoc wherever he can.

While all of this is going on, the girls of Zodiac Starforce have their own lives going on. I am not going to spoil any of this part because I feel it is important to go in fresh. We are given a bit of backstory and character development on these pages. I was not expecting it, but I enjoyed it. Kevin and Paulina really know how to space out the dialog and action in their comics. The twist at the end was a surprise even for me!

The art in this book continues to be stunning. While it does remind me of Jem and Sailor Moon, in no way does it copy them. This book has its own unique style that really works with the action. It is nice to feel that you are entering a universe that really exists. This is a lived-in world that we luckily get to take part in.
