Casting is underway for yet another role in the second season of DC’s ‘Titans’.
They are searching for a 13-15 year old Mediterranean girl to play a “funny, sarcastic, and witty” character.
While we don’t have a lot to go on from the breakdown, we know that Aqualad may be showing up, thanks to the Titans Facebook group. Given that he could appear, it wouldn’t be shocking to see another supporting Aquaman character as well, in the form of Aquagirl.
Garth, aka Aqualad, was a founding member of the Teen Titans in the comics, and Aquaman’s first sidekick.
In the comics, Tula, aka Aquagirl, was an Atlantean adopted by a royal family. She met Aqualad at the age of 15 (the same age from the breakdown). Later on, she aided him on multiple missions with the Teen Titans.
‘Titans’ hails from Geoff Johns and Greg Walker, and stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, and Ryan Potter. Season two hits DC Universe this fall.
