’24’ Prequel Series In The Works at FOX

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that original 24 creators Joel Surnow and Bob Cochran are reteaming for a 24 prequel series. The series will follow a young Jack Bauer before he became the CTU agent that has saved America time and time again. The original series ran from 2002 through 2010 starring Keifer Sutherland. With a limited series running for 8 episodes in 2014 titled 24: Live Another Day with Kiefer Sutherland returning as Jack. Then, in 2017 FOX debuted 24: Legacy starring Corey Hawkins as a brand new character Eric Carter.

After, Legacy was canceled the network still went back to the show’s creators to see if they could bring back 24 to its former glory.  However, the series has yet to be put to order by the network. With the Fox/Disney merger continuing onward the network (which will be rebranded as New Fox) is looking for a new show to carry the network into the future.

24 has no set release date
