A quick overview of what they got right, a few things that disappointed me, & some things I wish they included.
There was a lot to like about this movie, so narrowing it to three things was a challenge.
The storytelling in NWH is by far the best of the series. We got to know Peter a little better as he discovered who he is as a man and super hero.
It was funny to watch him battle villains who knew his identity, but he had no idea who they were.
By far, my favorite thing about NWH is the chemistry & comedy between Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, & Tobey Maguire. Having 3 Peters interact with each other was pure gold.
As much as I enjoyed the movie, there were a few things they included in the film that I didn’t care for.
While I loved that Charlie Cox was joining the MCU, I was very disappointed with how little screen time they gave him.
I was disappointed that we didn’t get to see the Sinister 6 after we saw Venom join the MCU at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
I was pretty disappointed when they had Sandman trust the villains over Peter. Why would he do that?
The only thing I would change about this film is giving Charlie Cox more screen time.
Overall, there isn't much to complain about. NWH may go down as the best Spider-man live action films of all time.
