The ship of Braniac 2.0 is making its way through Space Sector 2821 with a hold full of precious cargo. John Stewart, Guy Gardner and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps along with Soranik and the Yellow Lanterns are trapped in a bottled Xudarian city on their way to be delivered to the Grand Collector. Meanwhile, the last of the original Guardians have come out of exile to contact White Lantern Kyle Raynor in an attempt to retrieve Hal Jordan from the ring he forged from his will. Hal and Abin Sur continue their journey through Emerald Space and are greeted by old friends. Kyle and the Guardians had better act fast because the reveal of the Grand Collector at the end of the issue means that the corps is in a lot of trouble.

Venditti’s pacing is solid. He doesn’t spend too much unnecessary time focusing on one aspect of the story when there are three different storylines that require equal service. Ed Benes’ art is amazing. He masterfully depicts detail as well as composition and his panel exude brilliance and light.

Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps #10 gives us a story that skillfully juggles its separate plots together while delivering stunning visuals that move you to linger on the details.
