‘Alien: Covenant’ Now Adding Aussie Actors Starting With Newbie Alex England

Feb 26, 2016

Production is about to begin next month on Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel Alien: Covenant. The film will shoot in Australia soon and Scott has promised to hired many local actors for the film.

Our first Aussie addition to the cast according to Deadline is newcomer Alex England.

Alex is best known for a role in the Aussie series The Beautiful Lie, and recently had a role in Gods of Egypt.

We are expecting a rather large cast for the film as it centres around a colony ship named Covenant, and there should be a huge group of humans onboard including colonists and ship’s own crew. The size of the cast will likely be more in the realm of Aliens and Alien 3, as the story allows for many more humans than usual skeleton crew.

England joins the rest of the cast, that includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez. Along with the possible addition of Billy Crudup.
