‘Alien: Covenant’ Set For Reshoots At ‘Harry Potter’ Studio Space

Nov 18, 2016

Our good friends over at AVP Galaxy have picked-up on some reshoot news concerning Alien: Covenant.

Make-up artist Tina Earnshaw, who is working on the film has seemingly revealed on Instagram the film is undergoing reshoots at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

The location is where they shot all the original Harry Potter films. This makes a lot of sense as the original production took place in Australia and seems like the London area would make things a lot more convenient for Ridley as he’s editing the film.

Covenant‘s release is still nine months away and is in the editing process while post-production visual effects are rolling in. Reshoots are extremely common and with the theatrical edit of Prometheus causing some confusion, I’d imagine Ridley wants to make everything crystal clear this go-around.

Alien: Covenant is set for release on August 4th, 2017.
