Allison Janney Joins Tim Burton’s MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN

Mar 5, 2015

Variety reports that iconic character actress Allison Janney (West Wing, Juno) has taken the role of a psychiatrist in Tim Burton’s Miss Peregine’s Home For Peculiar Children.

The film is based on the Ransom Riggs novel and was adapted by Jane Goldman (Kingsman, X-Men First Class, Kick-Ass, The Woman In Black).

Eva Green will star as the titular Miss Peregine along with Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, and Samuel L. Jackson apart of the main cast.

A teenager, who finds himself transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them.

I wouldn’t have been too excited to see another Tim Burton film but after the wonderful work he did with Big Eyes, I’m actually looking forward to this one.

20th Century Fox has set the release date for March 4th, 2016.
