AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Renewed For An 8th Season

Oct 18, 2016

With a show as iconic as The Walking Dead does it really come with any surprise that AMC renewed their cash cow for an 8th season a week before the 7th season even hit TV screens. With an exuberant Robert Kirkman striving for 12 seasons before an actual end to his post apocalyptic Zombie drama.

Staying at 1# the pinnacle of it’s viewer demographic between ages 18 to 49  with over 14 million views for the past years of it’s show run.

The Walking Dead is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon leaving viewer’s with an existential cliff hangar of cataclysmic proportions depending on your favorite character.

If the TV show pulls one of it’s comic book accurate stints then it will be Glenn that is put under Negan’s bat Lucille. But with Glenn having 3 separate near death experiences and being a fan favorite. He might be gifted with some fandom leniency.

But who knows ? Who will go next or what events that will transpire in season 7 of Walking Dead.

Catch the season premiere on AMC  October 23rd at 9pm to find out.
