I am a native Oregonian currently residing in the greater Sacramento, CA area. I am not battling the many minions of darkness, I work as a Quality Control Officer for a pesticide residue lab by day, and a historical fencing instructor by night. My hobbies include photography, cooking, video gaming, hiking, fishing camping, and reading. I have been married to my wife Britta since 2006 and we have a very happy 100 lbs rottweiler named Jilly. I'm a proud Eagle Scout, served on a board of directors for a charitable corporation, and managed several million dollar food service accounts. I've learned to use a longsword, courtsword, rapier, schlager, dueling saber, olympic foil, and dussack. I've even fought a 1 on 1 duel with sharpened blades against my instructor. I've gone to 3 Blizzcons, read Frank Herbert's Dune no less than 15 times, and even helped develop some new methods for pesticide residue detection.
