Old Man Logan returns to the Marvel Universe this week as the graying berserker stars in a new comic from acclaimed creator Jeff Lemire (Extraordinary X-Men, Sweet Tooth) and artist Andrea Sorrentino (Green Arrow). The original Old Man Story from Mark Millar is one of my all time favorite comics and his return during Secret Wars was certainly interesting. So its safe to say I am excited for an older, wiser, more seasoned Wolverine to claim his place in the new Marvel U.
It will be interesting to see how this Wolverine fits into this newly created Marvel Universe. He is essentially a man out of time, who is trying to find his place in this world. Jeff Lemire feels like the perfect creator to bring this story to light as his character work is among the best in comics. Here is hoping Old Man Logan #1 can live up to the original.
