‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ Casting Call Teases 80s Action Sequence

Oct 21, 2017

Ant-Man and The Wasp is expected to finish up next month but it sounds like they still have some large set pieces left to film. A new casting call Omega Underground has uncovered suggests that Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas could be getting an 80s action sequence.

-1980s Military Goons

-Caucasian

-Males (5’9-6’2)

Shooting dates include October 23-26.

It’s most likely a flashback to Hank and Janet’s spying days at SHIELD. These goons are also likely going to be Russian/Soviet as previous calls have been seeking actors to play Russian goons.

Another casting call we uncovered over the summer was for “terrorizing goons” which could suggest modern scenes are teasing MCU terrorist group The Ten Rings. Not too surprising as villain Mitchell Carson had a Ten Rings bodyguard in the first film.

Ant-Man and The Wasp will complete filming in November and is slatted for release on July 6th, 2018.
