CW’s Riverdale spinoff The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is currently casting for the lead role of Sabrina Spellman. Omega Underground exclusively uncovered a string of audition tapes for six actresses vying for the role (more ladies have auditioned since).
In that article, we suggested with Riverdale season two wrapping it’s second season at the end of March in Vancouver, Sabrina could be also shooting in the Canadian city starting in April.
A new production listing we’ve spotted supports our theory which states the pilot will shoot in Vancouver sometime in the spring.
The show is expected to take cues from the darker comic series of the same name and will mirror the tone of it’s cousin Riverdale. Sabrina was first introduced in the pages of Archie’s Mad House in the early 60’s.
Depending on if CW likes the pilot it could get a full series order, only time will tell.
