Augusto Aguilera Lands Final Lead Role In Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’

One more for the meat-grinder.

Deadline reports that Augusto Aguilera has been cast in one of the last leading roles in Shane Black’s The Predator.

He’ll be joining the diverse cast that includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane, and Yvonne Strahovski.

While Holbrook has stated it’s unlikely that Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s Dutch will be returning. Director and co-writer Shane Black has suggested the film is directly connected to the other three films and did meet with Arnold about returning.

The Predator is currently well into production in Vancouver with it’s wrap date set for May. It’s release date has been slated for February 9th, 2018.
