Deadline is reporting that Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn (Dark Knight Rises, Bloodline, Animal Kingdom, Exodus) is wanted for a lead role in Gareth Edwards’s Star Wars: Rogue One starring Felicity Jones.
It’s a perfect casting choice since he’s known for playing dirt-balls and villains, it’s just unknown what role he could be wanted for.
Production is expected to begin soon with a release date set for December 16th, 2016.
