Aussie Actor Guy Pearce In Talks To Replace Michael Sheen In Sony’s ‘Bloodshot’ Movie

Aug 7, 2018

Filming on Sony’s Bloodshot movie starring Vin Diesel officially began yesterday in Cape Town, South Africa. However, it looks like actor Michael Sheen won’t be joining the film after all due to scheduling conflicts.

Variety reports that Sony is now in talks with Australian actor Guy Pearce (Iron Man 3, Memento) to play the role which was originally meant for Sheen.

Pearce would play Dr. Emil Harting, the genius responsible for the nanotechnology that exists inside the human body to not only repair it, but push it further than normal human limitations.

Sony has set Bloodshot’s release date for February 21st, 2020.
