Wow, it looks like that extended locational shoot taking place in Scotland will be longer than we originally expected.
Omega Underground has spotted a new casting call for UK residents that has revealed that Avengers: Infinity War will be shooting in the Scotland area for six months. It’s an extremely large boost to the local economy and we’re bound to finally land some stellar set photos when filming over there begins in March.
Production will take place in Edinburgh/Glasgow, Scotland along with the surrounding highlands.
It’s undetermined if they’ll keep production offices open for six months and move between Edinburgh, Atlanta, and other locales during this time or spend that entire time specifically in Scotland.
However, this does line up with The Daily Record had previously reported concerning the length of the production.
Filming is due to start on February 28 and is expected to take around six months.
They’re also casting little people for roles which could speak to Peter Dinklage‘s role, possibly playing The Dwarven King Eitri who forged Mjolnir and not Pip.
Could Scotland be doubling for the realms of Nidavellir and Álfheim?

The United Kingdom casting directors for the Marvel feature film “Infinity War” are now registering talent to work on the film as fully paid extras, stand-ins, and photo doubles. Shooting will take place in Edinburgh and Scotland beginning in March 2017 and will continue for 6 months.
