‘Bad Boys 3’ Release Gets Pushed Back Until 2018, But It Has A Cool New Title

Aug 15, 2016

If you were looking forward to seeing Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles as Detectives Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett in Bad Boys III next year. You’ll be disappointed to know, Sony has pushed back its release by almost half a year.

No details were given as to why the studio has decided to bump the release of Bad Boys III for a second time. It was originally meant to hit screens February 17, 2017. But in March of this year, Sony moved it back four months to June 3, 2017. Now with the latest change Bad Boys III is stated for release January 12 2018.

With the reshuffle of the films release date it could be a blessing as June 2017 is filled with four potential blockbuster releases in Wonder Woman, Transformers: The Last Knight,  Kingsman: The Golden Circle and The Mummy reboot.

Now with the bad news out the way, here’s some good. The title for Bad Boys III will be Bad Boys For Life. I know what your thinking cause I’m thinking it too, it’s a cool title. But why the hell didn’t they keep this for the supposed fourth film in the series and have it stylised as Bad Boys 4 Life. That would have been way cooler.
