Omega Underground recently revealed that Sony’s Bad Boys For Life was gearing up to shoot soon with hiring it’s production designer Stijn Verhoeven who will reunite with French directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
Verhoeven previously worked with the duo on films Black and Gangsta.
Now, we’ve learned the third film is going to look stunning as they’ve added extremely talented cinematographer Benoit Debie. Best known for visually focused indies such as Spring Breakers, Enter The Void, Colt 45, The Beach Bum, and the recent Cannes surprise hit Climax.
Trades had been reporting that Sony had been eyeing an August start and with Will Smith wrapping Gemini Man in July it’s possible that could come together.
As we previously reported they plan on filming in Atlanta and Miami.
Sony has set the film’s release date for January 17th, 2019.
