Batman: Urban Legends #7
Batman: Urban Legends #7 plays host to a new set of Batman-related stories, with the Red Hood’s coming to an end last issue and Tim Drake’s set to be revisited later. Without question, the best story from this issue is the one centered around the featured character on the main cover, Terry McGinnis.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the Batman Beyond future, providing even more reason to check out Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly’s story. And by the end of the story, we find out DC is bringing this character back after being sidelined for all of 2021.
McGinnis’ story in Batman: Urban Legends #7 sets the stage perfectly for what’s to come in Batman Beyond: Neo-Year. His situation has changed a fair amount, and it seems the book’s tone has to some extent, too.
And as much as I loved Francesco Mattina’s Batman Beyond cover for Batman: Urban: Legends #7, Hicham Habchi’s Batman 666 variant cover had me excited for that story. But the art in that story was not at all like his, leading to a bit of a letdown.
“Hunter…or Hunted” and “Batman with no name” weren’t exactly the best anthologies we’ve gotten so far in this series. As much as I enjoyed the Batman Beyond story, Batman: Urban Legends #7 isn’t on the same level as the previous six issues because it lacked that strong second story each of the prior ones had.
