BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Comic-Con Trailer Unveiled

Jul 11, 2015

Hot off the heels of its debut at San Diego Comic-Con moments ago, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the new trailer for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Zack Snyder directed sequel to Man of Steel, and the beginning of its bigger DC Expanded Universe on film. The new trailer teases a lot of what many of us were expecting from the new film, including the use of Kryptonite, Bruce Wayne’s involvement in Man of Steel‘s climactic events, and what happened to General Zod. It also gives us our first look at Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman in action, and so much more!

Check out the trailer now!

Batman v Superman

The trailer is a much better look at the upcoming WB and DC film than the previous teaser, giving us a real understanding of how the world’s of Batman and Superman are colliding. It also gives us a lot more to look at in terms of the new characters, really showing just how large Zack Snyder is going with the film. This is going to be an incredibly huge film, and I really hope, and am beginning to believe, that Zack Snyder just may have pulled it off.

This seems like a very natural continuation from Man of Steel, and I’m glad that Snyder is using The Dark Knight Returns as inspiration for his take on Batman here. With Affleck playing him, this makes this Batman a truly formidable opponent for Superman, as a much more sinister picture plays underneath both of them. Snyder really looks like he’s giving Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice his all, and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us.

Starring Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg as, Jeremy Irons, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio, will be released March 25, 2016.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
