Hasbro is looking to expand upon their G.I.Joe brand with a Snake Eyes spin-off movie. The studio is already hard at work with a G.I.Joe soft-reboot starring Dwayne Johnson. However, the reboot had no mention of fan-favorite silent ninja Snake Eyes.
Well, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Beauty & The Beast screenwriter Evan Spiliotopoulos has signed onto pen a Snake Eyes solo spin-off movie. The character was played by Ray Park (X-Men) in both 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and 2013’s G.I Joe: Retaliation. He is always dressed in black never speaking nor revealing his face. Which made him the face of the G.I.Joe brand. His arch-enemy is his brother Storm Shadow.
Snake Eyes has no set release date
