Best Look At ‘Doctor Strange’ and Baron Mordo Costumes In New York Set Images

Apr 2, 2016

Doctor Strange has moved production from London to New York and we’ve nabbed a couple of excellent shots from the set today.

We get our best glimpse at both Stephen Strange and Mordo’s costumes in these images, the detail is stunning actually.

UPDATE: Just Jared have posted even more images from shoot.

“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, the film’s cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Mads Mikkelson, Benedict Wong as Wong, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West and Amy Landecker.

Rumors suggest that McAdams could be playing Stephen’s fellow medical peer, but it’s more than likely she is playing an MCU version of sorceress Clea, as Mikkelson is said to be playing her evil uncle Dormammu.

Another big question, who could Amy Landecker be playing in the film?

I wouldn’t be shocked if Amy Landecker was playing author Morgana Blessing, Stephen’s business manager Sara Wolfe or potential villains Morgan le Fay and Umar The Unrelenting.

Morgan was the villain in the 1970’s Strange TV movie, while Umar is the mother of Clea an ally of both Mordo and her brother Dormammu.

Doctor Strange will be released on November 4th, 2016.
