Breaking! Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan, Sherlock Holmes, The World’s End) has joined the cast of Deadpool 2.
We spotted the British actor revealed the news on his Twitter account today that he’ll have a role in the sequel. He took a picture with Ryan and his kids on set, confirming his involvement.

Marsan recently worked with Deadpool 2 director David Leitch on Atomic Blonde. This role is unknown but there are plenty of roles he could play as he’s played both villains and supporting roles.
It would be kind of interesting to see Eddie play a villain like Mister Sinister, Sugar Man, or even Black Tom (if Jack Kesy is playing someone else). He has played villains in films like Hancock, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and Mission: Impossible 3.
Deadpool 2 is set for release on June 1st, 2018.
