Brendan Gleeson and Jeremy Irons Join ‘Assassins Creed’

Deadline revealed today that Micheal Fassbender’s upcoming video-game movie Assassins Creed has just added Brendan Gleeson (Braveheart, The Village) and Jeremy Irons (Kingdom of Heaven, Batman v Superman) to the cast. The film also stars Marion Cotillard. Iron’s is expected to play the father of Cotillard while Gleeson play’s Fassbender’s father in the film.

The story follows Callum Lynch, who attains the skills of a master assassin after finding out that he is a descendant of a master assassin who was part of a secret society of professional killers.

Assassin Creed is filming right now in Malta near Sicily. Malta is expected to double for 15th-Century Spain.
