Bryan Singer Set To Direct Matt Nix ‘X-Men’ TV Series Pilot

Jan 25, 2017

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that longtime X-Men director Bryan Singer will helm the pilot episode for Matt Nix X-Men TV Series. This comes off yesterday’s announcement that FOX had picked up the series for a pilot commitment after much enthusiasm was given to his script.

Bryan Singer will also serve as executive producer on the series with longtime X-Men screenwriter Simon Kinberg. This isn’t Bryan Singers first stint in television after directing episodes for Mockingbird Lane, Battle Creek and House. The series still is untitled but follows ordinary parents who learn their children are mutants. Thus they must flee the government and meet up with an underground network of mutants.
