Chadwick Boseman’s Cop Thriller ’17 Bridges’ Begins Filming September 24th In NYC and Philadelphia

It was recently announced that Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman would be leading a cop thriller 1B7ridges directed by Game of Thrones and Luther’s Brian Kirk, with the Russo Brothers producing.

Follows a disgraced detective [Boseman] in the NYPD who is given a shot at redemption. Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, he begins to undercover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow cops to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. During the manhunt, Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history – no exit or entry to the island including all 17 bridges.

Well, Omega Underground has learned that filming is set to begin on September 24th with locations said to include New York City and Philadelphia.

Philly has been used as a shooting location recently for films like Glass and Creed 2.

A release date hasn’t been announced by STX Entertainment.
