Charlie Cox Confirms We Will See The Classic Red ‘Daredevil’ Suit

Many fans have been wondering when we will see the classic red Daredevil suit from the comics in marvels upcoming Daredevil Netflix series. So far in all the promotion we have seen for the show we see him in his “ninja black” suit from his Frank Miller origin story not his red one. Well today Charlie Cox along with his co-star Vincent D’Onofrio attended a Reddit AMA in which Cox confirms and recounts the day he put on the classic suit:

I love both of the suits. Obviously it was great to involve the John Romita Jr. black ninja costume but the day I first put on the iconic costume is a day I will never forget.

He also mentions that he would love to appear in a future Avengers film if Marvel Studios permits it:

I have no idea if this is even a possibility but I can tell you that I would love nothing more. I don’t see why the character from our show couldn’t fit in with the Avengers, if he was invited

Now while Daredevil has a pretty large role in the original Civil War comic it maybe to late to add him into the film which goes into production in the coming months., That being said it is entirely possible to have him appear in Marvel’s Spider-Man as well as Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 with his group of Defenders.
