Charlie Cox Returns to Marvel in Spider-Man 3

Dec 9, 2020

It’s long been whispered that Charlie Cox was still on the mind of Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige. The actor made an everlasting impact playing Matt Murdock in Netflix’s Daredevil and which heard before that Feige wanted to officially enlist him into the MCU. It seems that time is now as Murphy’s Multiverse is reporting that Cox will make his return to the Marvel stage in the highly anticipated Spider-Man 3.

This inclusion makes perfect sense as we say Peter confront the fact that Spider-Man has been dubbed a murderer following the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home and will likely need some legal counsel to help clear his name.

It’s also important to note Daredevil has ties to other properties Marvel is actively producing like Blade, Moon-Knight and She-Hulk and his introduction in Spider-Man could be the beginning of a very long relationship with the MCU. This news is only supported by the fact Cox has still be actively teasing his involvment with Daredevil again on social media and while that could be constituted as “just good fun” this recent reveal may indicate it’s not just him messing around.

Only time will tell but something tells me Daredevil is just getting started in the MCU and future appearance and his own show are not far behind.
