CinemaCon 17: Lionsgate Panel

Today, was the final day for CinemaCon 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. To close out the studio panels was Lionsgate with their slate of upcoming features as well as a look back on their past films. They started off the show with a montage video showcasing some of their top films from 2016 as well as a look forward onto 2017.

First, they brought stars Eugenio Derbez and Salma Hayek on stage to promote their upcoming comedy How to Be a Latin Lover. After doing a comedic bit on the difference between CinemaCon and Comic-Con. The two debuted a brand new trailer from the film. They then showed a brand new trailer for the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me starring Demetrius Shipp Jr.

 They moved onto their next film American Assasin based on the New York Time best-selling novel. The film stars Dylan O’Brien (Deepwater Horizon, The Maze Runner) and Micheal Keaten (Spider-Man: Homecoming). Then, lastly they debuted their uplifting story Wonder which shows a child finally go to school after his face his disfigured from multiple surgeries when he is younger.

To close out the show they debuted the action-comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard starring Ryan Reynolds and Samual L Jackson for the CinemaCon audience.
