Omega Underground has learned that Spanish cinematographer Flavio Labiano will reunite with director Jaume Collet-Serra on Jungle Cruise.

The pair previously worked together on films such as Non-Stop, The Shallows, and Unknown. Flavio’s other credits include Timecrimes and The Gunman.

We also confirmed today that the Dwayne Johnson film will indeed be shot in Atlanta as expected. A release date has yet to be confirmed by the studio but coming sometime in 2019-2020 is a good bet.

Based on Disneyland’s theme park ride where a small riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles.

Production is said to begin this April.
