Welcome back to the weekly comic book haul! I apologize for being gone for so long. Now that the holidays are over I’m hoping to get back to a regular schedule.

What does January 13th hold in store for us in comic books? I’m glad you asked! Image Comics brings us the 150th issue of The Walking Dead and has given us several cool variant covers to choose from. Speaking of variants, DC has started releasing adult coloring book versions of their titles. This week’s featured titles were Batman Superman 28, Red Hood & Arsenal 8, and Starfire 8. On top of that, DC has also given us two new issues in their running mini-series of Superman: American Alien 3 and Batman TMNT 2. Marvel isn’t gonna be left behind though! They released their newest series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and have finally brought Secret Wars to a close with the release of the final issue.

Curious to see which of these titles I picked up? Make sure to watch the whole video to find out. Also, stick around until the end to see my “Comic Book Pick of the Week”! Its a brand new limited series from IDW Publishing. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too!

I was born in Tarentum, PA and moved around the east coast for a majority of my youth. The only constant was my love of geek culture (anime, video games, comics). My family finally settled in northern Virginia and I met my wife there. I was able to convert her to the dork side and now have a partner who may be more knowledgeable in comics than I am. Shortly after marriage I started a YouTube channel and recently got into making comic book content. I focus mainly on short reviews and weekly comic pulls. Other content includes a weekly wrestling show featuring my YouTube friends and Let’s Plays. My professional life has consisted of customer service work in the grocery industry. I’ve been able to learn a lot though and have become a pretty good cook and beer snob. Even nerds like classy things.
