CONFIRMED: ‘Black Panther’ Starts Shooting This January In Atlanta via Casting-Call

Oct 24, 2016

We have assumed for months that Marvel’s Black Panther would be shooting in Atlanta like Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2 and Spider-Man.

SAN DIEGO, CA - JULY 23: (L-R) Director Ryan Coogler, actors Danai Gurira, Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, and Michael B. The film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba and Letitia Wright.

We also suspect that Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis will be reprising their Marvel roles.

Project Casting has discovered that Marvel Studios is putting out an open casting-call for Black Panther in Atlanta. This confirms the Ryan Coogler film will indeed shoot at Pinewood Studios, Atlanta, along with the production beginning in January.
