Fox’s official AlienAnthology Twitter account has posted a full crew image of the colony ship Covenant from Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant.

In the center, of this image, you can clearly see James Franco standing in the middle next to his pal Danny McBride. This confirms the previous report made by AVPGalaxy that Franco would have a role in the film.

Franco almost confirmed this himself last year during an interview with HeyUGuys.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, James Franco, Billy Crudup, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, Noomi Rapace, Alex England, Callie Hernandez, Uli Latukefu, Benjamin Rigby and a possible cameo from Guy Pierce.
