‘Creed’ Star Michael B. Jordan Set To Board Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’

May 14, 2016

Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Creed and Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan is looking to join Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther solo film. This comes off other news that Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong’o was also in talks to join the cast alongside star Chadwick Boseman. Jordan’s role is currently unknown but speculated to be the films antagonist. He would most likely be joined by Ulysses Klaw played by Andy Serkis in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Unfortunately, this would mean Jordan won’t be teaming up with the Avengers as a possible hero down the line but the actor in the MCU is amazing regardless.

This would be Jordan’s third film with director Ryan Coogler who directed him in both critically acclimated films Friutvale Station and Creed. Jordan was also seen in last year’s Fantastic Four reboot as Johnny Storm that was destroyed by fans and critics alike. It’s looking like the Marvel Cinematic Universe likes hiring actors who have played the Human Torch given Captain America himself Chris Evans was once Johnny Storm in the original Fantastic Four flicks.
