The newest chapter in the terrifying horror series is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell. This chilling prequel, set before the haunting of the Lambert family, reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
While it doesn’t have director James Wan Insidious Chapter 3 looks almost as creepy as the other two films in the series. have released a new trailer and it seemingly keeps the formula but has switched-up the family.
I’m actually a sucker for the Insidious and The Happening movies, James Wan is brilliantly setting-up a really cool PG-13 world of horror which if studios are going to pursue they might as well take cues from these films.
Insidious Chapter 3 opens on June 5th, 2015.
