‘Crow’ Director Teasing Annabelle Wallis For A Role?

May 2, 2018

Casting on Sony’s Crow reboot directed by Corin Hardy is well underway and the director might be teasing a potential addition on Instagram.

We were tipped off to Hardy posting a photo with British actress Annabelle Wallis (Tag, Peaky Blinders, Mummy) in Los Angeles, Corin hasn’t exactly worked with her but his Nun producer James Wants has on the Annabelle films. Wan also recently directed Aquaman with new Eric Draven actor Jason Momoa.

James (@creppypuppet) was also shocked by knowing each other when he commented on the photo.

There are some connections there and we do know that casting is happening, in theory she might have met or landed a role in The Crow.

Two roles seemingly Wallis could be playing is Eric’s slain love Shelley or a female version of villain Top Dollar that was revealed by DreadCentral.

Annabelle is going to film Boss Level next but as we have reported The Crow won’t begin filming in Prague and Ireland until July 2nd. There could be some wiggle room depending on the size of her roles in both films, we don’t expect to see much of Shelley.

Sony has given The Crow the release date of October 11th, 2019.
