Current Cut of the ‘Justice League’ Doesn’t Include Lex Luthor or Iris West

Sep 23, 2017

Director Joss Whedon has been hard at work in post-production on DC Comics upcoming Justice League feature film. Getting it ready for this winter’s release in November. However, it seems he has cut (for now) two major DC characters from the current cut of the film.

This comes from a private pre-screening of the film that was shown to a select few earlier this week. According to the reports, the current cut of the film (which runs around two and half hours) does not include Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor nor does it include a cameo from Kiersey Clemons’ Iris West.

Some are speculating that Iris West may end up being recast given that Clemons only joined the cast back when Dope director Rick Famuyiwa was still attached as the director. Which would be a real shame given how spectacular of an actress she is.
