While promoting his upcoming FX series Trust, Danny Boyle has confirmed previous reporting that he is attached to direct Bond 25 and is dependent on the John Hodge script to Metro.
“We are working on a script right now. And it all depends on that really. I am working on a Richard Curtis script at the moment. We hope to start shooting that in 6 or 7 weeks. Then Bond would be right at the end of the year. But we are working on them both right now.”
Also, Danny confirming that they plan on production starting at the end of the year.
We previously suggested a start between November-December.
The unitled Bond film is expected to be the last of the Daniel Craig era films as producers start to seek a new actor to replace him. Talk has been that development on the new Bond film could actually take place between now and the release of Bond 25.
MGM has given the unitlted film the release date of November 8th, 2019.
