David Dastmalchian has reportedly joined the cast of the Blade Runner sequel according to Deadline, his role is not being named or detailed. He played a Joker minion in The Dark Knight and a Russian hacker in Scott Lang’s crew for Marvel’s Ant-Man, David’s other recent projects include 12 Monkeys and the new Twin Peaks revival.
Also joining the film, is Israeli actress Hiam Abbass and is likely best know from the British TV series The Promise and Ridley Scott’s Exodus.
Blade Runner 2 is currently shooting with a release date set for October 6th, 2017.
