We previously revealed that filming on Godzilla vs Kong aka Apex is aiming for a start in early October in Atlanta and it looks like casting is finally underway on the massive kaiju crossover.
A new report from ThatHashtagShow suggests that Deadpool 2 star Julian Dennison had landed a role in Adam Wingard’s Godzilla vs Kong.
Also, adding that recent Oscar-winner Frances McDormand is being offered a part as well with Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown expected to reprise their roles from Godzilla 2. Frances isn’t seemingly above big dumb tentpoles as she has been previously part of the Transformers franchise.
The film is well into pre-production as we’ve previously reported Tom Hammock and Owen Paterson (The Matrix, Captain America: Civil War) are currently production designing the film with the art department.
Warner Bros. has set the release for May 22nd, 2020.
