Box Office Mojo has revealed that Fox’s Deadpool has officially crossed the $500 million mark at the worldwide box office. Making it one of the most profitable Fox films ever made. Along with being the highest grossing R-rated comic book films as well.
There is some expectation that film could very well end-up overtaking the worldwide totals of Matrix Reloaded at $741 million and X-Men: Days of Future Past at $747 million.
It’s a huge success story considering 20th Century Fox turned down the film twice during it’s development.
There is some expectation that the sequel that will include Cable, could be ready for a release in February 2018.
