DiCaprio In The Mix For Tarantino’s ‘Manson’ Film – As We Reported In July

Nov 2, 2017

After the collapse of The Weinstein Company, Quentin Tarantino is looking for a new home for his Charles Manson Murderers film. It’s now being referred to as a 60-70s era drama set in Los Angeles.

In the recent Deadline report they are confirming a casting detail Omega Underground briefly reported on back in July on Twitter.

Adding Leonardo DiCaprio to the mix of actors vying for roles alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie, and Brad Pitt. We suspected over the summer Leo could be up for the Manson role, but were never told which role he had met for. However, it turns out was indeed eyeing a part in the Tarantino film.

Quentin wants to begin shooting this summer for release in 2019, we assume it could be released in December 2019 after his last couple of films taking spots in the month.
