Diego Boneta Is Latest New Addition To Tim Miller’s ‘Terminator’ Movie

Apr 9, 2018

It looks we’ll be getting multiple Lantio actors in Tim Miller‘s new Terminator film.

THR reports that Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages) is now in negotiations to take a key role.

He’ll be joining Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger and new addition Mackenzie Davis (Black Mirror, Blade Runner 2049).

The new film is expected to be set in Mexico (taking cues from the first time movies) and is said to have multiple Lantio roles to fill, including the new female protagonist Dani Ramos. There has been an extensive open casting call to find an actress to play Dani leading to some production delays.

Diego could be playing the soldier escorting Ramos in the audition tapes we revealed.

Filming will take place in Budapest, Hungary, (stage space), and Spain (doubling for Mexico).

Terminator will be a direct sequel to T2 (ignoring the last three films) and Paramount has given the film the new release date will be November 22nd, 2019.
