What was your first Cosplay experience?
I first went to a convention when I was about 8 or 9. I saw everyone dressed up and thought it was amazing. That night I went home and created a closet cosplay of Mamoru from Sister Princess. Ever since then I’ve been going to conventions and cosplaying.

How long have you been Cosplaying?
10-11 years.

Who or what inspired you to take up Cosplaying?
First it was all about expressing fandom for my favorite animes. It’s the same now, but it’s also a very big way I can creatively express myself.

If you had to pick a favorite Cosplay you have worn, or have seen someone else wear, what would it be?
My favorite cosplay is still Lightning from Final Fantasy 13-2. I really love knight looking/ inspired armor. Her weapon and armor design is amazing.

If you had unlimited funds and resources, what Cosplay would you create?
Probably Purple Hearts design in Hyperdimension Neptunia V2. I’m currently working to get the funds to do so but I’ll have to slowly add on pieces until its 100% complete (the version of the outfit with all the floating pods around her).

What advice would you offer to those who are aspiring Cosplayers?
Try your best, but don’t start with something too complicated for you. The longer you cosplay you will develop the skills to make your dream cosplays so just keep at it and learn from the easier cosplays. One day you’ll make it there, so don’t be discouraged and have fun!
